Safety Case MHF

Evonik Hydrogen Peroxide facililty – Morinsville. In mid-2020, Adrian commenced work as HAZOPscribe to support the revalidation of prior HAZOPs, taking increasing responsibility and completing the revalidation process in 2023. Currently the focus is to develop solution to risk identified and documents the safety case as required by Major Hazard Facility Act 2016.

HAZOP 

Prior Experience 

Eric was initially trained by Safety Solutions when working with Fonterra and later by Orica (ICI) as a lead HAZOP facilitator for Beca Consultants. In that time, HAZOP studies were completed on a wide range of equipment and plants, nationally and internationally, totalling over $900M. Link to HAZOP studies list

Fire & Explosion

Milk powder safety

Fonterra-wide – Eric lead the development of the dryer safety group. Over a 3-year period, major upgrades to milk powder plants, including the introduction of SIL-rated deluge systems and CO pre-emptive systems. A safety case was developed for each site, and upgrades were rolled out to all Fonterra factories.
