Modeling

Dehumiderifier and Milk powder dryer modelling

Stage two of the project was to identify bottlenecks in the dryer, including air dehumidification technology, both refrigerant and desiccant. Carnot Engineers performed initial project scoping, management, energy and mass balances, dryer and atmospheric modelling to justify the project.

As part of the shovel-ready projects, the New Zealand government is currently co-funding projects which decarbonise industry. Carnot has worked with Dairy companies, Hydrogen peroxide plants and other consultants to develop the engineering design and project manage several of these projects. These projects are often good opportunities to increase plant efficiency and reduce site OPEX. And usually starts with benchmarking models.

Delivery

Boiler installations

Temporary Diesel boiler installation for the maintenance period to cover the main site facility shutdown. Including site integrating piping, electrical and control and setting up load shedding automation amongst users, to manage and prioritise capacity. Including resource consenting and statuary approvals.
